It's your choice there are several types of cover available.
Comprehensive car cover
You opt for either 'agreed value' cover (available for vehicles up to 10 years old) or 'market value' cover.
Third party property, fire and theft cover
Available for vehicles under $5,000 and less than 20 years old.
Third party property only
For vehicles up to 30 years old.
It’s comprehensive
Allianz Classic or Prestige Comprehensive Motor insurance covers you for accidental loss including theft and damage to your vehicle. You are also covered for:
- Damage to other people's property (legal liability) up to $20 million
- Legal costs up to $20 million
- Hire car for up to 14 days if your vehicle is stolen
- Towing
- Trailer cover
- Loss of personal effects and clothing to a maximum of $500 for any one incident
- Emergency repairs and transportation
- Option to protect your no claim bonus
