What is Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP)?
Compulsory Third Party Insurance, otherwise known as your CTP Greenslip, provides compensation for other people injured by your vehicle when you or the person driving your vehicle is the driver at fault in an accident.
What does my Allianz CTP Greenslip* cover?
Your Allianz CTP Greenslip covers:
- Other road users, such as drivers, passengers, pedestrians, pedal cyclists, motorcyclists and pillion passengers
- Injuries caused through the use of a trailer
- Your passengers
- Vehicles registered in NSW 24 hours a day, Australia wide
What does my Greenslip not cover?
It does not cover:
- You for personal injury if you are the driver at fault
- Damage to property or other vehicles
CTP At-Fault Driver Protection Insurance
Allianz At-Fault Driver Protection Insurance cover provides protection for specified injuries or death if you are the "at-fault" driver in a motor accident up to a maximum benefit of $250,000. Allianz At-Fault Driver Protection Insurance is provided at no additional cost with your Allianz Greenslips for qualifying vehicles and purchased after 1 August 2006.
